The Genesis Agendum is a charitable company promoting church and public awareness to the substantial historical and scientific evidence supporting the biblical record.
The long term aim of this charity is to establish a research facility and present the historical and scientific evidence in the most effective way to the widest possible audience. The founding discussions, in 1994, included the idea of establishing a high quality public exhibition centre in London.
The Genesis Agendum is supported by gifts from individuals, churches and other organisations. There is no subscription-based membership although those wishing to support the work regularly may participate in the Friend of GA scheme.
The present work involves:
- providing public lectures at different venues in England
- publishing a series of Occasional Papers
- providing a Virtual Museum as a resource for science teachers and students. Known as The World Around Us, its objective is to encourage discussion of evolutionary theory in the light of recent discoveries. The museum presents evidence from science and history, suggesting there is a paradigm crisis in an evolutionary world-view. This is the first phase of the museum with further development planned as resources become available.
- maintaining this promotional web site on the work of The Genesis Agendum
