The Chicxulib Crater, Yucatan Peninsula, Mexico, considered to have been caused by an asteroid or comet about the time of the K/T transition. Now filled in, the crater was some 105 miles (170 km) in diameter. A radar image taken by the space shuttle Endeavour.
